Collegiate Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) is an organization that allows you to put the topics you learn in courses into action. This organization helps build leadership knowledge, public speaking skills, and problem-solving expertise through a series of competitive events with other schools around the country on topics ranging from marketing, management/administration, finance, hospitality, and tourism. CSU DECA is open to all majors and encourages those from diverse backgrounds to bring insight to each meeting and competition!
The DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is the culmination of the DECA year. Over 1,200 Collegiate DECA members meet to engage in competitive events, professional development academies, networking, and more. While most states have students from multiple colleges, our chapter here at CSU is the only one to represent Colorado.
With the help of these donations, our chapter can get our members to ICDC this April in Austin, TX. All donations to this project benefit Collegiate DECA at Colorado State University through the Student Organizations fund
