Now in its 9th year, EDUCATION IN MOTION, presented by Colorado State University's School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, invites pK-12 educators from across Colorado to explore integrating movement and dance into the general classroom. Guest presenters, community leaders in education and CSU faculty provide tools and practices to reach more diverse learners, including sessions around social and emotional learning, mindfulness and teacher wellness, culturally relevant pedagogy, and trauma informed teaching. We connect educators to brainstorm and collaborate on ways to meet the needs of their students and enhance the culture of learning in our schools.

. . . The seminar meaningfully brings together passionate educators from across the state of Colorado to create and support a diverse community through the universally healing power of movement. The program was collaborative, reflective, and practical. The inclusivity of the EIM program helped me network with educators in my school neighborhood as well as across the state of Colorado. . . - Kayla Crowe-Stover, PSD educator and EIM attendee
