CAM the Ram is the official mascot of Colorado State University. A celebrated and time-honored tradition for more than 60 years, CAM the Ram was chosen by the student body in 1945 to serve proudly as Colorado State University's mascot. Named in honor of Colorado A&M in 1954, he represents CSU at home football games and community events throughout the year.
A fixture in the game-day experience, CAM welcomes Rams fans and celebrates in the end zone after a Rams touchdown. Our dedicated group of students, known as the Ram Handlers, ensure that he receives the best possible care and training that a land-grant university can provide. Gifts to CAM Forever keep CAM happy, healthy, and available to attend CSU events. Most of the budget covers the costs to feed, house, and care for CAM, and the rest supports his travel costs and covers expenses for our hard-working student-volunteers, the Ram Handlers. Join us in keeping his legacy and tradition going forever by supporting the Ram Handler program, CAM's care, and travel costs with a gift to CAM Forever. This year, thanks to the generosity of The Debra J. Marbut and Daniel Burger Veterinary Medicine and Biological Science Endowment, we will match the first $500 raised dollar for dollar!
