Mental health is important here at CSU, and especially over the past year there has been added focus on our students' wellbeing, no matter their background. People face their share of battles every day. CSU's community is impactful and strong, and is where it’s at today because of our amazing students, our alumni, friends, and the Fort Collins community.
This campaign supports the Chris Bachman Support fund, which provides resources related to the mental challenges students face. This project is personally meaningful and is driven by my own experience with facing mental health issues. As a student who faces anxiety, I've experienced how hard it was to balance my educational pursuits with my personal life at the same time. Adjusting to CSU was hard for me, but I wouldn't change it for anything because it has motivated me to help someone going through the same problems with helpful and practical solutions. There haven’t always been direct funds to students that focus on this area, so I am excited to promote this project to make a positive impact!
The Chris Bachman Support fund is being established to provide resources to support mental health services beyond what is covered by student fees. Supporting this initiative can provide a student with the financial support they require in order to fully address mental health issues. My goal for this project is to raise $2,000. Please join me in supporting my fellow Ram’s mental health, because we know, Rams take care of Rams!
